2.2.x

Notes are presented in reverse chronological order

2.2.2 (2022-12-14)

  • Hyperlinks found inside markdown can now be tapped to open the link

2.2.1 (2022-12-08)

  • Saved filters for form submissions
    • These cannot be created in the mobile app - they must be created using Dispatch Hub. If a user hasn't created any saved filters, this chip will not appear.
    • Submissions from saved filters are not cached - they will disappear if you open the app again with no internet.
    • The way the new saved filters get submissions differs from the existing Submitted by me/Assigned to me filters. Work to make this consistent is underway, but not part of this release.
    • Submissions returned by Submitted by me/Assigned to me are cached, but forms returned by Saved filters are not yet cached (they will disappear from the app if you kill and reopen it)
    • Once you load forms from a saved filter set, these submissions will also appear in the list if you have no filters applied, but will disappear if you kill and reopen the app
    • Existing filters load submissions by week; the new saved filters load 20 at a time as you press "load more"
  • Form submission screen updates to tighten up the layout and draw users attention to outstanding actions
  • Job Card Updates
    • Priority (excluding new/normal) is shown
    • Resource and locations icons are back
  • Job Screen Updates
    • UI improvements, including how attachments (files and ad-hoc forms)
  • The "Chat" tab has been renamed to "Messages,” and "Channels" has been renamed to "Resource Chats”
  • For operators and operator/requesters, if the geofence notifications feature flag is on, any locations on ongoing jobs are now given a 200m radius and registered for geofence tracking, even if the location has no geofence configured in dispatch hub (this should result in more geofence-triggered notifications being sent)
  • Updated splash screen on Android
  • Bug Fixes
    • The member role now displays properly (previously IronSight User)
    • Fixed an issue where logging out and back in caused forms with "field memory" to crash until you closed the app and re-opened it
    • Fixed an issue where opening the app with an expired access token and no internet would cause the "restore authentication" process to fail unexpectedly, stranding you on the splash screen
    • The command description for requesting a job has been fixed. It now correctly says "Requested {task name}" or "Requested job" if the tasks are not loaded yet
    • The pending command description for attaching a form to a job has been changed, so that it is no longer identical to submitting the form, which made it look like it was sent twice when offline
    • Users get a better error message when their login fails with an archived user
    • Forms with an identical field in multiple flows are now only shown once in the submission data
    • Fixed the chat button on the job map for admins/dispatchers. It now properly takes you to the unit chat screen for the unit on the job
    • Fixed an issue where when you attach a file to the job could disappear shortly after it uploads successfully (the work list was refreshed in the background, and it showed the version loaded from there, instead of the version with the file attached)
    • Fixed an issue where timestamps were a cloned job sometimes had the wrong time
    • The form screen and job screen no longer flash grey when you enter either of them from a deep link (widget crash)

2.2.0 (2022-11-17)

  • Brand new interface design to make the mobile app consistent with the web app
  • Jobs and Form Submissions have been broken out into their own lists as opposed to being all in one list - this brings the ability to show users only what they need to see (e.g. Forms or Jobs tab)

  • Improvements to how users can find jobs and forms
  • Changes to the styling of the job cards to be more compact to reduce scrolling
  • Chat moved from an icon at top to its own tab
  • Locations tab moved from an icon at top of screen to a menu on the "More" tab
  • Introduced an "On Duty Bar,” which sits on top of the tab bar and reminds drivers they are still on duty
