How to Archive/Unarchive a User/Users on Ironsight

Archiving a user removes them from active visibility in your company’s profile without permanently deleting their historical data. This is especially useful when an employee leaves your organization and you want to clean up your user list.

When Should I Archive a User?

You should archive a user when:

  • They are no longer with your organization.

  • You want to retain their historical activity and job data for records.

  • You want to remove them from all current user lists and assignments.


Steps to Archive a User

  1. Log into the Admin Portal
    Log into Ironsight with you correct credentials, and navigate to the Admin Portal.

  2. Select the appropriate Hub where the user belongs.                                                                                          🔹 If your organization does not use hubs, simply skip this step and continue to the next step.

  3. Access the Users Tab

    From the top menu, click on Users to view a list of all current user in your organization. Use the search bar at the top of the user list to quickly find the specific user you want to archive by typing in their name or email address.

  4. Select the User(s)
    Scroll or search for the users you want to archive. Click on each user's name to open their profile.

  5. Click Archive
    Scroll to the bottom of the user’s profile page and click the Archive button. A confirmation prompt will appear — confirm to proceed.

  6. Done!
    The user is now archived and will no longer appear in active assignments, scheduling, or dropdown lists.


🔄 Can I Unarchive a User?

Yes! Archived users can be restored if needed. Go to the Users tab, filter by archived users, select the individual.

Then, click Unarchive to restore the user.

📝 Notes

  • Archiving a user does not delete any job history or past activity.

  • Archived users will not have access to the system unless restored.
