Locating Unapproved Jobs


Step 1: After logging into your Ironsight account (at can.ironsight.app), find the Jobs Tab located on the left side of your screen. Once you are in the Jobs Tab, click on the 'Job Status' filter to proceed.

Step 2: Click on the 'All' or '8/8' option to either select all jobs at once or deselect them.

Step 3: Choose the Job Status you would like to prioritize first, such as "Completed."

Step 4: Locate the jobs that are pending submission for approval by selecting the "No Approval" option in the Approval Status filter, indicating that these jobs have not yet been approved.

Step 4.1:If you are using the Jobs beta feature, you can apply multiple filters simultaneously. This allows you to set the job status to "Completed" and the approval status to "Pending Approval,". 

Click on the "Look for" option, and in the dropdown that appears, locate the "Job Status" filter by scrolling down.





Step 5:
Click on the job you want to open.

Reviewing the job details


Step 6: Review the job details until you reach the Line Items section. If any adjustments are necessary, click on the "Edit" button to make your changes.

Step 7: Select the "Add Line Item" button to include any additional costs associated with the job.

Step 8: Choose the "Product/Service" that best represents the additional cost you wish to include.

Step 9: Once you have confirmed that the costs are accurate, click the "Save" button.

Step 10: You can optionally attach any relevant images or files to the job. To do this, navigate to the 'Attachments' section, click on "Photo / File," and upload the necessary documents to the job.

Submitting for approval

Step 11: Navigate back to the top of the job details page and click the "Submit for Approval" button.

Step 12: To close the current job, click the X located at the top right corner of the job details page. This will allow you to move on to the next job, where you can repeat the steps for editing line items, attaching files, and submitting for approval until all completed jobs have been addressed.

Reviewing and resubmitting Rejected Jobs



Step 13: Next, you can review your approved/rejected jobs by adjusting the 'Approval Status' filters to view either approved or rejected jobs.


Step 13.1: If you are in Jobs (Beta) simply hit the "x" mark to remove the current filters and click back on "Look for" to filter out rejected/approved jobs. 

Step 14: Rejected jobs will have a red status, and will include a comment from the approver to explain why it's been rejected

Step 15: Review the comment, adjust the job, or talk with your contact for resolution, and when ready, click 'Resubmit for approval'

Downloading invoices for approved Jobs



Step 16: For approved jobs, click the "Download PDF" button to save the PDF to a location that is easily accessible. The file will be named automatically in the format 'IronSight job #123123.pdf'. This PDF serves as your official backup for the Open Invoice process.

Adding Job Tags



Step 17: To monitor the approved jobs that you have completed, simply scroll down a bit past the 'Download PDF' button until you find the "Edit Tags" option.

Step 18: Click in the tags field and begin typing 'Invoiced' or any other relevant tag you wish to use.

Step 19: If you have previously used the tag, simply select "Invoiced." If this is your first time using the tag, a prompt will appear asking if you would like to create it—choose 'yes' to proceed.

Step 20: Click "Save".

Step 21: Choose the next job, and continue the process by downloading the PDF and updating the tags until you have invoiced all approved jobs.
