Locating Unapproved Jobs
Step 1: Navigate to Completed Jobs Tab
After logging into your IronSight account at can.ironsight.app, locate the Jobs tab in the left-hand menu. Once you're in the Jobs section, you will see multiple job buckets.

Step 2: Click the Completed bucket to view all jobs that require approval.

Step 3: Click the job you want to open.


Reviewing the job details
Step 4: Review the job details until you reach the Line Items section. If any adjustments are necessary, click on the "Edit" button to make your changes.

Step 5: Select the "Add Line Item" button to include any additional costs associated with the job.

Step 6: Choose the "Product/Service" that best represents the additional cost you wish to include.

Step 7: Once you have confirmed that the costs are accurate, click the "Save" button.

Step 8: You can optionally attach any relevant images or files to the job. To do this, navigate to the 'Attachments' section, click on "Photo / File," and upload the necessary documents to the job.

Submitting for approval
Step 9: Navigate back to the top of the job details page and click the "Submit for Approval" button.

Step 10: To close the current job, click the X located at the top right corner of the job details page. This will allow you to move on to the next job, where you can repeat the steps for editing line items, attaching files, and submitting for approval until all completed jobs have been addressed.

Step 11: Once jobs have been reviewed and submitted for approval, you’ll find them in the Pending Approval bucket.

Reviewing and resubmitting Rejected Jobs
Step 12: Jobs may be approved or rejected. You can find and review them by clicking into the Approved and Rejected buckets—each bucket will display all jobs with that status.


Step 12.1: When a job is rejected, a comment will explain why. Scroll down to the Activity Log to view the comment, make the necessary corrections based on the feedback, and then resubmit the job for approval.


Downloading invoices for approved Jobs
Step 13: For approved jobs, click the "Download PDF" button to save the PDF to a location that is easily accessible. The file will be named automatically in the format 'IronSight job #123123.pdf'. This PDF serves as your official backup for the Open Invoice process.

Adding Job Tags
Step 14: To monitor the approved jobs that you have completed, simply scroll down a bit past the 'Download PDF' button until you find the "Edit Tags" option.

Step 15: Click in the tags field and begin typing 'Invoiced' or any other relevant tag you wish to use.

Step 16: If you have previously used the tag, simply select "Invoiced." If this is your first time using the tag, a prompt will appear asking if you would like to create it—choose 'yes' to proceed.

Step 17: Click "Save".

Step 18: Repeat the process for the next job until all approved jobs have been invoiced.

Step 19: To sort not invoiced jobs, click the Filter field in the top-left corner of the Jobs tab and type Tag. When the menu opens, select Invoiced, choose Do not include, and click Apply. This will filter the list to only jobs that have not been invoiced.Next, click the small blue ribbon next to the All Jobs button to save the filter. You can name it anything you’d like, and you’ll be able to access it anytime you log into IronSight.
