How to Request an IronSight Connection with a Client

As a Pro Service Provider of IronSight, you have the ability to connect/ invite some of your clients to try IronSight. These clients will be able to review, approve, and even request jobs from you in the system.

When creating a new job, you can select one of your existing clients, or you can click on "Manage clients" to:

1. Connect to an Energy Producer who is already part of the IronSight network

2. Invite the Energy Producer to connect with you and complete jobs for them

3. Create a new client

If the Energy Producer Organization is currently using IronSight as their field logistics' solution, then SP’s cannot automatically connect to their hubs. Pro SP’s must send an invitation to work with the hub, which can be accepted by an EP hub admin in the admin portal.

3. Pro SP Admin Creates Client

In order to create a new client, you must search for an existing client. Once there are no matching results, you will be able to create a new client that is not yet part of the IronSight network.

You can also request connections and create new clients from your Mobile App. The process is almost identical.  

 

Important Notes:

  • Only user with an Admin role are able to request these connections.
  • At this time, there are not any notifications (emails) sent to Energy Producers when a new connection is made. Please if you would like to Invite an Energy Producer to connect with you, ensure you are communicating with them regarding this invitation.
